We dined both nights at the hotel restaurant on the 16th floor with great views over the city, very tasty and reasonably priced food and the best selection of cocktails I have ever seen at a hotel, also very reasonably priced.
I had a great massage while at the hotel. The pool is located on the fourth floor and is completely undercover, with a sauna, steam room, gym and showers/toilets nearby.
Highly recommended!

The pool area was lovely with plenty of loungers to stretch out on. One small recommendation - the loungers could use some cushions. Breakfast was served in a room with a view - a nice buffet though with limited options for vegetarians.

The staff were wonderful. Some had only limited English but they all went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

But if you use grab or PassApp the cost is closer to $8.... read more Tip: PassApp generally has lower prices for getting around town but doesn’t take foreign credit cards. Grab does accept credit cards so may be more convenient. Both worked really well.

Hotel checkin is was good but less personal than we are used to in Cambodia. Maybe it’s the big city effect.

Our club room is more spacious than the lower rooms (6 rooms per floor vs 8 per floor). Cleaning could have been better, wifi was mostly ok. Air con worked well but was noisy enough that we needed ear plugs at night. The room had a persistent smell of stale cigarette smoke.

Location is a bit hard to tell. The city is so spread out and it’s damn hot. So you’ll probably take a tuk tuk to most places.

The s21 museum is worth visiting and is in walking distance. There are a few restaurants in walking distance. But you’ll want a tuk tuk for the central market area.

Bed was comfortable. Bathroom has a transparent window into the bedroom, thankfully with a blind. The room was cleaned each day but not until about 4 or 5 pm.

Breakfast was ok with cooked to order eggs and a great omelette. The same area on level 16 is a bar/restaurant. It lacks any atmosphere and is short of some items but the beer is ice cold and they serve the best beef lol lak I had in Phnom Penh. (Tender beef and lots of fresh peppercorns.)

Checkout was a slow process because they had to verify that the account had been paid by hotels.com (why couldn’t they do this earlier?) but it worked out fine in the end.

The pool area is under cover so the water is cool / refreshing. It was kept clean. The lounge beds are hard wooden things so not so comfortable for relaxing. It’s part of the gym area and has no bar service.

All in all I get the impression that they are running on minimum staff following covid. The club lounge is closed. It was an ok place to stay but I’d probably research other places if I was to return to PP.

The building is new, and the facilities are clean and nicely designed with a modern feel. The room was very comfortable, and I loved the open spaces throughout the hotel. The staff are wonderful, and the breakfast options were also very nice. The location is also perfect to get around anywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel!
